About Me

Hi, I’m a 37-year-old IT professional currently working as a Field Service Technician for CompuCom Systems Inc. My path into the tech world wasn’t a straight line—before transitioning into IT, I spent many years in blue-collar roles, including drilling and automotive maintenance. Those hands-on experiences gave me a strong work ethic, a problem-solving mindset, and a deep appreciation for practical, real-world solutions.

In 2016, I made the decision to pivot my career and enrolled at Spokane Falls Community College to study Information Technology. It was a big step, but one that opened the door to a new and exciting field. In 2021, I landed my first official role in IT, and I’ve been building my career ever since.

Today, I support a wide range of IT infrastructure in the field—from troubleshooting hardware issues to resolving user problems. I take pride in bringing reliability and clarity to complex technical issues, and I’m always learning something new to stay ahead in this fast-changing industry.

I obtained my CompTIA A+ certification in October 2023, and I’m currently preparing for my CompTIA Network+ exam, which I plan to take at the end of July 2025.
